Enjoy this epic tour through the heart of Quebec. This route (mostly) follows along Route Verte 1. The Route Verte (Green Route) is a network of routes that combine bike paths, multi-use trails, quiet roads, bike lanes and some shared roads in Quebec, Canada. The trail network inaugurated on August 10, 2007, and spans over 3000 miles. If you are an explorer, totally use this route as a starting point to explore more of what Quebec has to offer.

This is labeled as moderate due to the distance and certain sections with shared roads. Overall the route is mostly flat but there are some notable climbs. Also, while the route is not totally remote, there are sections with limited lodging so some pre-planning is critical.
If you don't want to deal with complicated logistics of getting to Newport, VT, you can always start the route in Sherbrooke, QC which has a direct Bus connection with Quebec City. This would shrink the route by about 30 miles.

Domaine de l’Oie Toquée (Saint-Agapit, QC): Amazing local restaurant and B&B Inn that caters to bikers along the trail! . Directly off the trail.
Auberge la Raveaudiere (North Hatley, QC): Top-rated homely Bed and Breakfast with super friendly staff. Directly off the road.
Camping de l’Île-Marie (Sherbrooke, QC): Campground in Sherbrooke right on the riverfront. Directly off the trail.
Camping Pura Vida Lodge & Sup (Brompton, QC): Fancier campground that’s right on the river and offers other activities if you want to take a slow day. Directly off the trail.
Camping Des Pins (Kingsey, QC): Campground. 1 mile west of trail.
