Meet the Founder

Hello, I'm Rami

I spent years living a good life on paper; solid job, great friends, a predictable routine; but something essential was missing. A snowboarding injury, which cracked two of my ribs, forced me to embrace low impact exercise. As luck would have it, my landlord had this rusty old bike in her tool shed. As a 28 year old who hadn't touched a bike since I was a kid, I thought Why not?! I was instantly transported back to my 10 year old self. What began as a gentle rehab turned into a rediscovery of my youth. I saw the humble bike, not as a toy, but as one of the greatest contributions to society. That spark pushed me to leave my job, sell my condo, and eventually bike my way across Europe, where I realized bike touring wasn’t just travel. The simplicity of moving mile by mile quieted anxiety, rewired my sense of purpose, and reminded me what it feels like to be fully alive.

This site exists to share that feeling and help others step into the world of bike touring, whether that means a weekend escape or a cross-country odyssey. It’s part guide, part community project, and part love letter to slow, human-powered exploration.

My goal is simple: to help more people discover the joy and life-changing potential of bike touring and help highlight the small local businesses that make each journey unforgettable. This project is never complete, and that’s the best part. Your routes, tips, and stories shape where it goes next.
